Mercury VS Earths

Mercury has and thin atmosphere and extreme hot cold temperature rates and rocky soil, Iron core, No living beings seen

Vs

Earth has a thick atmosphere and mild hot to cold temperature rates and soft sand, rock ,soil, magma core, living beings

What Is Gravity

gravity is a force which tries to pull two objects toward each other. Anything which has mass also has a gravitational pull. The more massive an object is, the stronger its gravitational pull is. Earth's gravity is what keeps you on the ground and what causes objects to fall.

Describe the postion, motion and components

oPosition in the Solar System. The Sun lies at the center of the solar system. It contains more than 99 percent of the system's mass. The immense pull of its gravity holds the planets, dwarf planets, asteroids, comets, and other bodies in orbit around it. next is the motion.Well, it depends. Your latitude on Earth--that is, how close you are to the equator--and the time of year make a difference. I'll explain why. Your motion is made up of four pieces: the rotation of the Earth on its axis, the motion of the Earth around the Sun, the Sun's orbit about the center of the galaxy, and the motion of the whole galaxy. Now, the whole solar system is moving around the center of the galaxy at about 230 km/s. For half of the year, the Earth's motion around the sun is in the same direction as this motion about the center of the galaxy, but for the other half, it is in the opposite direction--that is, sometimes we're moving "upstream," and sometimes we're moving "downstream." When the motions are exactly aligned, the velocities combine to 230 km/s + 30 km/s = 260 km/s When they are opposite, though, we have to subtract the velocities: 230 km/s - 30 km/s = 200 km/s. Wow that was a mouthful next up the compnents! there are generally considered to be eight planets in the Solar System. They can be divided into two types: (1) the gas giant planets, which include Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune and (2) the terrestrial planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.

Describe The Overall Scale, Structure, And Age Of Our Universe

Age of the earth estimates is 8 thousand years, because they found rocks with fossils. then the size of the universe hmm about 91 light years away is observable and then thing about everything past that..... about 10,000 light years.

Facts about earth

1. The Earth’s rotation is gradually slowing:
his deceleration is happening almost imperceptibly, at approximately 17 milliseconds per hundred years, although the rate at which it occurs is not perfectly uniform. This has the effect of lengthening our days, but it happens so slowly that it could be as much as 140 million years before the length of a day will have increased to 25 hours.

2.
The Earth was once believed to be the centre of the universe:
Due to the apparent movements of the Sun and planets in relation to their viewpoint, ancient scientists insisted that the Earth remained static, whilst other celestial bodies travelled in circular orbits around it. Eventually, the view that the Sun was at the centre of the universe was postulated by Copernicus, though this is also not the case.

3.
There is only one natural satellite of the planet Earth:
As a percentage of the size of the body it orbits, the Moon is the largest satellite of any planet in our solar system. In real terms, however, it is only the fifth largest natural satellite

4.-70% of the Earth’s surface is covered in water

When astronauts first went into the space, they looked back at the Earth with human eyes for the first time, and called our home the Blue Planet. And it’s no surprise. 70% of our planet is covered with oceans. The remaining 30% is the solid ground, rising above sea level.

5.
-Earth doesn’t take 24 hours to rotate on its axisIt’s actually 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4 seconds. This is the amount of time it takes for the Earth to completely rotate around its axis; astronomers call this a sidereal day. Now wait a second, that means a day is 4 minutes shorter than we think it is. You’d think that time would add up, day by day, and within a few months, day would be night, and night would be day.

Mercury Space Report

Mercury was hit by a huge asteroid 4 billion years ago.  The crater is called the Caloris Basin.  The planet is named after the Roman god Mercury, his Greek side is Hermes.  Hermes is the god of land travel and measurement.  It's the fastest planet to circle the Sun which is why they named the planet after him.  Mercury is also the closest planet to the Sun.  It has more of an oval rotation than circle like all of the other planets.  No one can explain it.

Mercury has a straight axis with extreme seasons.  It takes approx 176 Earth days to rotate on it's axis.  Earth takes 88 days to orbit the sun. Mercury is extremely slow and different compared to our days.  Mercury is like a golf ball compared to Earth which is about the size of soccer ball.  It is the second smallest planet next to Pluto.

Earth has 9.807 gravity and Mercury has 3.7 so people would have a hard time standing on Mercury.  It has a very thin atmosphere which would make it hard to breathe, making you choke on the atmosphere. The temperature is -276 F to 801 F so it would be very cold and also very hot.  Human survival would not be possible.

Mercury is all rocky, it has tons of mountains and lots of volcanoes.  It has no moons and no rings.  Mercury is extremely hot or cold and there would be no way of living on it.  There is no oxygen, so I hope you stay away from Mercury!
